Classroom teachers, reading specialists, special education instructors, speech-language therapists, parents, and tutors can use Phonological Awareness Board Games with students in Pre-K to Grade 3 who need additional practice in the areas of early literacy skills, auditory processing, and speech articulation and phonology. Phonological Awareness Board Games can be played in small groups of two to six individual players or the entire classroom can be divided into teams so all of your students can join in on the fun!

In this kit, you will find a collection of playing cards and game boards that are designed to allow practice on each of the following phonological awareness skills:

Phonological Awareness Board Games is designed so the instructor is free to choose the type of skills to be practiced in each game as well as the level of difficulty that is most appropriate to the particular skills and needs of the students. Feel free to mix the decks together in any combination to suit your instructional needs. Use the die provided in the kit for a quick game or allow students to move forward one space each time they can correctly respond to the activities on the playing cards.
